Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and purchase order management.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide solutions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conduct supplier assessments, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Evaluate and select vendors for market research panels, survey programming, translation and data analytics services.
- Source and procure services specific to qualitative research, such as moderation, report writing, focus group facilities and transcription services.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
- Manage procurement budgets and track expenditures
- Ensure purchase orders are processed and delivered to external vendors in a timely manner.
- Tracking and analyzing spend, savings, supplier performance and driving continuous improvement.
- Be agile in adopting new tools, ways of working towards continuous improvement to better business outcomes.
- Ensure the procurement of high-quality data sources and research services that meet the company’s standards.
- Provide market insights and intelligence to make informed procurement decisions.
The ideal candidate would have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Finance or related field (MBA preferred).
- At least 3 years Marketing Research experience, preferably in Project Management or online panel operations.
- Experience in handling Quantitative and qualitative Market research projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
- Experience working in a cross-functional team environment.
- Proficient in Office 365, SharePoint, and MS Project.
- Can work independently as well as in a team.
- Is willing to take calculated risks.
