Sydney, 22 March 2022: MetrixLab is happy to welcome Ed Harrison as Managing Director of Australia and New Zealand. Our current Managing Director Vincent Blaney, who opened the insights company’s office in Australia three years ago, will return to the UK in June and take up a position with the MetrixLab London office. For the coming months, Ed and Vincent will jointly manage the Australia business to ensure a smooth transition and continuing client partnerships until Ed officially takes over in June. Despite the COVID dynamics, Vincent took the business in Australia to the next level, positioning the insights company to be on track for a strong future. Vincent Blaney says: “It has been an incredible experience moving to the other side of the world to bring MetrixLab to the ANZ markets. I would like to thank all the wonderful people I have met along the way who have been so helpful and welcoming, and I know I am leaving the business in a very capable pair of hands.” Joining the team from Australian agency Fiftyfive5, having previously headed up System1 Research in ANZ, Ed is expected to continue this momentum and support brand owners to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of their marketing dollars. “I’m thrilled to be joining MetrixLab at such an exciting period in their growth trajectory,” says Ed. “I look forward to building further on such a solid foundation in helping our clients to drive best in class business outcomes across product innovation and brand engagement.” Rob Valsler, Regional Managing Director of MetrixLab AMEA says: “We’re excited to welcome Ed to the MetrixLab team and see how we build on a hugely successful launch phase where our Australia team helped make a big impact for clients in the region. Our team and clients will benefit from Ed’s broad experience in the market and deep understanding of our key focus areas.” MetrixLab is a fast-growing global market research and insights company that’s challenging the status quo of insights.
